State police at Clearfield
An act of criminal mischief was reported yesterday when someone smashed the driver's side window of a vehicle owned by Donald Skiver of Fallentimber.

David Moore of Curwensville reported that someone removed a bench, numerous life vests and other items from his boat at Curwensville Lake between Oct. 1 and 5.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

No injuries were reported in a three-vehicle accident that happened yesterday on Interstate 80 in Pine Township.
All three vehicles were traveling east in a construction zone when traffic came to an abrupt stop. Tomasz Grodzki of New Jersey struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Jeffery Smith of Loysville. The Smith vehicle then struck a vehicle driven by Michael Flock of Ohio.
All three drivers were wearing seatbelts.

An act of criminal mischief was reported yesterday at the Clearfield Alternative School in Wallaceton when a juvenile punched and smashed a window in the multi-purpose room.

Clearfield Boro

Police assisted Children and Youth Services in checking the welfare of a parent who was reportedly violating a court order. Officers were unable to make contact with the parent.

Officers were called to check the welfare of a child at an East Cherry Street address and found the child's father was home.

Lawrence Township
The investigation continues into the reported theft of several firearms.

Police apprehended a 17-year-old boy for a home invasion robbery that happened Sept. 27 in Glen Richey.
The incident occurred as two males entered the residence and robbed two elderly residents, who were in bed at the time, at gunpoint.
The 17-year-old is originally from Baltimore and was charged with robbery, burglary, theft and related charges. He was arraigned and placed in jail in lieu of $75,000. A preliminary hearing date is set for Wednesday.

A woman who was reported missing from the Gambro Health Complex was located a short time later.

The investigation continues into a possible PFA violation in the Hyde area.

Officers removed an unwanted and intoxicated person from the Lawrence Park Village.
