State police at Clearfield No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident Tuesday in the Glendale Sportsman's Club parking lot in Jordan Township when Byrone Reese of Houtzdale backed his vehicle and it struck a parked vehicle. --- The investigation continues in an incident of retail theft that occurred Tuesday at BiLo in Decatur Township when two teenagers stole two bottles of cough medicine and attempted to leave the store. They were stopped by the store manager and admitted to stealing the medicine, but fled the scene. --- Troopers are investigating a burglary that happened between 3 p.m. Wednesday and 4 p.m. Thursday during which someone entered a Kirk Street residence in Lumber City by smashing the glass in a sliding glass door and removed a chainsaw, valued at approximately $500. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 857-3800. --- Penny Sheetz of Chester Hill reported someone let the air out of two tires on a vehicle at her residence between 9 p.m. Friday and 5:30 p.m. Saturday. --- Thomas Trumbette of Reynoldsville suffered minor injuries Saturday when he was traveling west on U.S. Route 322 in Bradford Township, lost control of his vehicle on the wet roadway, it left the road, struck the guide rail and came to rest in the eastbound lane. --- On Saturday, a 13-year-old girl was charged with harassment after she allegedly harassed a 13-year-old at Moshannon Valley High School. --- Lucy Knepp of Wallaceton reported someone used an unknown object to crack the windshield of her vehicle while it was parked at the Osceola Mills firehall. The investigation continues and anyone with information is asked to contact police. --- Troopers are conducting an investigation after a Coalport woman allegedly harassed a Hastings woman and smashed her vehicle windshield Tuesday. --- Interstate 80 in Lawrence Township was closed for approximately one hour Wednesday following an accident in which an Ohio man lost control of his tractor-trailer, it jackknifed, left the road and struck the guide rails. It came to rest blocking the entire road. --- The investigation continues troopers are seeking more information in an act of criminal mischief that happened between October 2008 and Sept. 20 at a First Street residence in Grampian. Robert Frailey of Curwensville reported someone smashed the windows of his door. He has not lived in the residence since October 2008. --- Two 16-year-olds face charges following an incident at Hillcrest Commons in Chester Hill Thursday in which the girl and boy were engaged in a physical confrontation and she kicked several dents in his vehicle.
Lawrence Township A speeding violation involving a black Honda Civic was reported in Hyde. --- A domestic incident was reported on Poplar Avenue. --- Officers were unable to make contact with a caller involving an incident of theft. --- Police have a person of interest in a burglary at the Veterans of Foreign Wars picnic grounds. --- An unwanted person was reported on Jury Street and police advised her to leave. --- No charges were filed in a physical alteration between several men along Supercenter Drive. --- Officers located a set of keys and returned them to their owner. --- Minor injuries were reported and one person was transported to Clearfield Hospital following a two-vehicle head-on collision on U.S 322. --- Separate incidents of trespassing were reported in the Glen Richey area and a Safety Lane residence. --- Someone lost a black and white Labrador and Jack Russell mix dog in the Hillsdale area. --- An unwanted person was reported at the Dollar Tree. --- Two men reportedly forced their way into a Lewis Road residence, held the residents at gunpoint and stole items from a safe. Those responsible told the residents to turn off the lights or he would shoot them. Officers were assisted by state police. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 765-1647. --- The investigation continues into an attempted retail theft at 100 Supercenter Drive. --- Police were called to check the welfare of a resident. --- A cell phone that was reportedly stolen was later returned. --- A burning complaint was reported in Hyde. --- Officers, along with Clearfield Borough police, responded to an armed robbery at the Kwik Fill along Race Street, U.S. 322 and state Route 153 in which a man entered the store, brandished an automatic handgun and demanded money. He exited the store through the south exit, crossed U.S. 322 and traveled toward the Plymptonville area. The investigation continues.
State police at Philipsburg The investigation continues after a barn fire at 22680 Decorum Road in Huntingdon County Thursday caused major damage. No animals were injured. Several fire departments responded. --- Between midnight and 5 a.m. Friday, someone cut the padlock off of a propane gas storage cage and stole several tanks of fuel. Surveillance camera recordings are being reviewed, but anyone with information is asked to call the police at 342-3370. --- On Friday, a Huntingdon man was charged with harassment and trespassing following an incident at The End Zone in Huston Township. He was asked to leave and, after having left, returned and started a fight with three other patrons. --- Residents are reminded to lock their cars following a rash of thefts from vehicles in and around Philipsburg Borough. The investigation continues and anyone who has been the victim of thefts is asked to contact police. --- Someone causes an estimated $35-$40 in damage by breaking the doorknob off of a North Run Road camp between 3 p.m. Sept. 20 and 11 a.m. Friday. Nothing appeared to have been taken, but anyone with information is asked to contact police. --- Troopers are seeking more information in a break-in that occurred at an East Spruce Street residence at approximately 6 p.m. Friday. Two individuals, believed to be teenagers, one tall and thin wearing a light-colored T-shirt, entered the residence through an unsecured basement door and attempted to access the first floor through a kitchen door. Those responsible fled on foot after the residents were awakened. --- Ronald Hubler of Philipsburg reported someone entered his unlocked vehicle Friday and removed a Blackberry cell phone from the glove box. Anyone with information is asked to contact police. --- Between Sept. 20 and Friday, someone cut the padlock off of a front door at a camp on Shirks Road in Rush Township and stole a Northern 5300-watt wheeled generator with a Honda engine, and a climbing tree stand from a nearby shed. Troopers ask anyone with information to call them.
