Lady Bisons fall in title game of Raider Classic

BELLEFONTE - The Clearfield girls soccer team fell to Huntingdon in the championship game of the Fifth annual Raider Classic Saturday at Bellefonte by a score of 2-0.
Brandie Centi made eight saves in the loss.
The Lady Bisons topped host Bellefonte, 2-1, to reach the title tilt. Clearfield needed to go to a sudden-death shootout round after two five-minute overtimes and a regular shootout were not enough to decide the outcome.
Julia Ammerman knocked the in the game-winner. Brooke Mohney scored the first Lady Bison goal by penalty kick at 60:41.
The Lady Red Raiders tied the game with 44 seconds left in regulation.
Clearfield (1-1) is back in action Saturday at Karns City. Game time is noon. Championship
