State police at Clearfield
Between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. yesterday, someone kicked in a door to a shed at the Girard Goshen Municipal Authority off of Gillingham Road in Girard Township.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

Between Aug. 4-10, a British Columbia woman sold her laptop through an Internet site, and believed she was selling it to a resident of Houtzdale. The Houtzdale resident reportedly received the laptop but had not ordered it.

She was advised by a Nigerian man named Henry with whom she had been chatting online to sell it and send him the money or send the laptop to him.

The woman from British Columbia reported to police she never received payment for the laptop.

Yesterday, police investigated an ongoing act of criminal mischief that happened when known females drove through the Curwensville and Grampian areas and threw eggs at vehicles and homes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

Patricia High, 30, of Houtzdale was reported missing after her family reported that they hadn't seen her since Aug. 4 at 3 p.m. She was driving a green Ford Explorer with Pennsylvania registration FTP-8286.

The investigation continues into a theft that happened at a Sustrik Road location in Decatur Township sometime before yesterday.

A Philipsburg man reported that another Philipsburg man allegedly removed a radiator from a vehicle and removed a Troybilt Rototiller from the victim's property.

Damages are estimated at approximately $150. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

Lawrence Township
A fuel spill was reported at 1702 River Road. Police assisted in the fire company in moving the vehicle.

A hit-and-run happened at Sapp Bros. Truck Stop when a Peterbilt truck was damaged by a truck tractor hauling a carnival ride. The carnival vehicle failed to stop to report the accident. The investigation continues.

Officers assisted a stranded motorist.

The investigation continues into a theft that happened at Novey Recycling.

Police served two arrest warrants and housed both subjects in the Clearfield County Jail.

A man was arraigned on charges related to a domestic incident.

Several reports of suspicious people selling magazines were received. The men are from an Altoona company and have a permit pending to solicit in the area.

Two juvenile females were caught shoplifting at Wal-Mart.

Police are investigating an act of prowling at nighttime.

---

A traffic hazard was reported on Coal Hill Road where a tree was partially blocking the roadway.

Following a report of a prowler in the Palmer Street area, police were unable to locate anyone.

Officers responded to the Hillsdale area to assist Emergency Medical Services with a possible drug overdose that included heroin, prescription drugs and alcohol.

State police at DuBois
Kathryn Kennedy of Ohio suffered minor injuries yesterday when she lost control of her vehicle in a construction zone on Interstate 80 in Sandy Township.

The vehicle left the roadway, became airborne and touched down on the embankment.

Greg Punchios of Sykesville suffered moderate injuries Monday when he lost control of his vehicle on Dutch Road in Brady Township.

The vehicle left the roadway and struck several trees. Mr. Punchios was thrown from the vehicle. He was later taken to the DuBois Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Sandy Township
A Brockway woman reported Friday that her car was damaged in the DuBois Mall parking lot.

Treasure Lake Security reported Saturday that someone unplugged an ice chest at the New Providence Beach concession stand, causing approximately 100 bags of ice to melt.

An Edinger Road resident reported that someone tried to break into her house Saturday. The deadbolt lock was damaged, but nothing appeared to be missing.

A DuBois woman reported that she was supposed to meet a friend Saturday and the friend failed to show. The woman was located later at her home after she had gotten a ride from someone else.

An open window was reported at the Lakeview Lodge Sunday, but nothing was missing or out of place.

Treasure Lake Security reported that someone overturned a porta-potty at a Treasure Lake construction site.

---

No injuries were reported Sunday when a DuBois man experienced a medical emergency while driving on South Brady Street. His vehicle left the roadway and came to rest in a yard.

He was transported to the DuBois Regional Medical Center for treatment of his medical condition.

State police at Philipsburg
Police report an accident occurred Thursday at the intersection of North Front and East Locust Streets in Philipsburg when a vehicle driven by Alexandria J. Pritts of Stahlstown was pulling out of Locust Street onto Front Street and was struck by another vehicle in the right front wheel. A passenger in the Pritts vehicle suffered minor injuries and was taken to Clearfield Hospital and released.

After committing several traffic violations, Miles Fenton of Philipsburg was stopped at South Second and Beaver streets in Philipsburg Saturday. He was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol, and charges were filed at the office of Magisterial District Judge Allen Sinclair in Philipsburg.

Kenneth Faulkner of Philipsburg has been lodged in the Centre County Prison pending arraignment on a single count of indecent assault at 11:30 p.m. on Friday. Police say he entered his neighbor's house and fondled a guest who was sleeping in an attempt to get her to have sex with him.

Charges were filed against a Philipsburg man on Thursday before Judge Sinclair for disorderly conduct for using obscene language and gestures at Water Street in Philipsburg, causing a disturbance.

An incident of harassment occurred at 146 Heritage Lane, Port Matilda, when a boyfriend and girlfriend became involved in a verbal argument. The 45-year-old woman then struck the 48-year-old man in the back with her hands and also scratched him there. The man requested that no charges be brought against the woman.
