State police at Clearfield
A Flinton man reported that someone smashed the driver's and passenger side windows of his truck between Sunday night and Monday morning.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

Troopers are investigating the theft of a rooster and a chicken from a Turtle Drive residence in Morris Township.
An Allport woman reported that someone stole the chickens between 5:30 p.m. Sunday and 11:30 a.m. Monday.
Clearfield Boro
A man from the Clearfield County Fair was jailed for public drunkenness and suspected contact with minors.

Several complaints of suspicious activity and parking complaints were reported in the West Side area.

Police returned a juvenile patient who had walked away from the hospital without completing treatment.

Numerous accidents were reported on the West Side due to increased traffic. Officers ask visitors to the fair to be patient, leave early and allow extra time when traveling. Due to the increased traffic, delays should be expected.

A 17-year-old who walked away from her residence after a family dispute returned safely later.

Police could not locate an intoxicated person reported walking along Woodland Road yesterday morning.

Officers are seeking information regarding a report of an 18-month-old child being struck by a paintball while watching the fair parade on Weaver Street Monday night.

State police at Punxsy
A two-vehicle accident happened yesterday on state Route 3003 in Chest Township.
Adam Gee of La Jose was traveling south near Black Elk Road when a vehicle driven by William Stiver of Madera crested a hill. The Gee vehicle traveled into the path of the Stiver vehicle after swerving to miss an animal.
The Gee vehicle sideswiped the Stiver vehicle in the northbound lane. Neither driver was injured. A passenger in the Gee vehicle suffered minor injuries.
State police at DuBois
Two St. Marys teens and two juveniles were cited for disorderly conduct Saturday in the village of Tyler in Huston Township.

Penfield Minit Mart on SR 255 reported two acts of retail theft. Drivers left without paying for gas on two separate occasions between July 27-29.

No injuries were reported Friday in a two-vehicle accident that happened on Interstate 80 in Union Township.
Matthew Maple of Ohio was traveling west when the driver in front of him hit the brakes due to stopped traffic in the construction zone. Mr. Maple braked, but was unable to stop due to the wet roadways. His vehicle struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Edward Wingertsahn of Pulaski.

June Christian of DuBois suffered moderate injuries Sunday when she swerved to miss a bear on Beechtree Road in Washington Township, Jefferson County. Her vehicle left the roadway and struck an embankment.
State police at Philipsburg
Police report an accidental shooting at the end of Bennett Road in Julian. The incident occurred when Travis Lee Stem, 21, of Bellefonte and three other people were target shooting in an open area. Mr. Stem was treated and released from Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College for a gunshot wound to his right shoulder. It is believed that Mr. Stem received the wound from a .22 pistol that was being fired in close proximity to him. Police noted the shooters were not positioned in a safe manner and the wound was caused by poor judgment. An investigation is continuing.
