State police at Clearfield
The investigation continues into a burglary that happened on Blackburn Road in Bigler Township yesterday.
A Madera woman reported that someone removed checks from her residence, and then forged the checks and cashed them at a local bank. The total amount of the checks is approximately $1,350.

A pink and purple Quest Seastarz bicycle was found at a Market Street location in Karthaus between 12:30 a.m. Sunday and 3:44 p.m. Monday.

Troopers are investigating the theft from a motor vehicle that happened between July 23-28 at the Quik Check parking lot in Bigler Township.
A Clearfield woman reported that someone removed personal items from her vehicle while it was parked in the lot. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

An act of criminal mischief was reported along state Route 53 in Coalport when someone threw an unknown white liquid on two vehicles belonging to a Coalport man Sunday night or Monday morning. Damage is estimated at $25.

A Curwensville man was cited for public drunkenness yesterday at approximately 3 a.m. after he was found to be intoxicated and causing a disturbance at Uni-Mart.

An act of criminal mischief was reported in the Clover Hill area when all-terrain vehicles ran over a resident's driveway markers.

Sandy Township
A Spafford Road woman reported Friday that someone siphoned approximately 15 gallons of gas from her vehicle and damaged the lock on her gas cap cover.

A Reynoldsville woman lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a curve on Wayne Road Friday. The vehicle crossed the road and struck an embankment, overturned and came to rest on its roof.

A Treasure Lake boy lost control of his vehicle on Treasure Lake Road Friday. The vehicle fishtailed, crossed the road and struck a guide rail. The driver was transported to DuBois Regional Medical Center for treatment.

A two-vehicle accident happened Friday when a DuBois woman ran a red light on the Bee Line Highway and struck a vehicle driven by a Kittanning man. The woman had been drinking and was taken to DRMC for treatment and testing.

A Curwensville man reported Saturday that someone took a propane tank from his campsite at Cayman Landing and also siphoned gas from his golf cart and damaged his property.

A blonde woman reportedly pumped $50 of gas into her vehicle Sunday at Kwik-Fill and left without paying.

A woman lost her purse at the DuBois Mall Sunday.

A vehicle driven by a New Jersey man pulled from the turning lane toward the I-80 ramp into the path of a vehicle driven by a Treasure Lake man, causing the vehicles to collide.

A Treasure Lake resident reported that someone damaged her daughter's yard by driving through it. Several other yards were also damaged.

A Hastings man reported he had been working at a Dixon Avenue residence and left his tools and equipment at the site. When he returned, approximately $290 worth of equipment was missing.
State police at Philipsburg
Police report an incident of sexual assault occurred in a wooded area off of Walnut Street between C and D streets in South Philipsburg, Rush Township, on July 23. An investigation led to the arrest of James B. Lowe, 31, a Megan's Law offender currently incarcerated in the Centre County prison on an unrelated charge. Mr. Lowe confessed when interviewed at the prison and will be arraigned today via video at the prison.
State police at Rockview
Police report that between approximately 6 and 7:30 a.m. yesterday, someone set fire to straw and damaged a Caterpillar dozer belonging to Sheehan Pipe Line Construction Co. at the Dominion Gas site off of Kato Orviston Road. Damage was estimated at several thousand dollars.
