State police at Clearfield
In an act of criminal mischief reported May 30, someone discarded a headstone bearing the information "Robert S. Bayer, Pennsylvania, Captain - US Air Force, 10/17/15-04-15-53" along state Route 865 in Beccaria Township.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 857-3800.

A Middletown man reported someone caused an estimated $400 in damage to an iron gate along Sylvan Grove Road in Cooper Township between 8:30 p.m. Saturday and 6:45 a.m. Sunday.

On July 5, a 16-year-old Woodland boy was cited for scattering rubbish on Doe Hill Road in Bradford Township.

Lawrence Township
An act of criminal mischief was reported at a Graham Street business.

The investigation continues in the theft of a Nintendo Wii from along Clarendon Street.

Suspicious men were reportedly selling meat from a van on Weaver Street Extension and police contacted the driver and occupants of the vehicle.

Officers assisted Clearfield Borough police with a domestic incident on Locust Street.

The theft of services was reported when someone placed trash in a Dumpster at a local business without permission.

A disabled vehicle was reported on SR 879.

Police are investigating an act of criminal mischief that happened on Carrs Hill Road when someone drove through a private residence and caused property damage.

State police at DuBois
On Monday, a Maine man and his passenger were not injured when their vehicle struck a deer on Interstate 80 in Union Township.

A Falls Creek man reported someone caused an estimated $200 in damage when they broke a window on his pickup truck while it was parked on Main Street in Falls Creek sometime between 9 p.m. Wednesday and 7:30 a.m. yesterday.

DuBois City
Someone attempted to enter an apartment on July 3, but nothing was taken.

Police met with a man who showed where someone attempted to pry open the door, the trim was damaged and the door had fresh wood chips, but was still locked.

No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident in the DuBois Area High School area July 3 when a vehicle failed to stop for a vehicle at a red light at DuBois Avenue and Division Street.

A two-vehicle accident happened Saturday on West Washington Avenue when one driver failed to stop when exiting South High Street and the vehicle struck another vehicle. No injuries were reported.

On Sunday, an attempted break-in was reported in the 700 block of Howard Avenue. The resident showed where the trim was dislodged from the doorframe, but said no one entered the residence and nothing was taken.

Police responded to the 200 block of Quarry Avenue for an act of criminal mischief Sunday in which the caller told police that a rope gate had been dislodged from its moorings and was in the parking lot.

The caller also showed where a vehicle had driven in circles in the gravel parking lot, which disrupted the painted lines.
