State police at Clearfield

Yesterday between 8:30-10 p.m., someone entered a Main Street residence in Ramey and stole a Sony PlayStation 3 with approximately 30 games and several DVDs.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 857-3800.

The investigation continues in a theft Saturday at Natalie's Salvage in Woodward Township when someone removed automobile parts valued at approximately $750.

Clearfield Boro

Several people were reportedly loitering at a Front Street business.

Following a traffic stop for driving under the influence, a Texas man was arrested on charges of possession of controlled substances and placed in Clearfield County Jail.

Officers responded to a Nichols Street establishment for a disturbance.

---

A Clearfield man admitted to placing fireworks in a storm door along South Second Street that destroyed the outer door and the inner metal door.

Police assisted emergency medical services with traffic control on East Market Street.

Lawrence Township

Anyone with information about a white Jeep Wrangler pulling a trailer involved in a hit-and-run accident at Wal-Mart is asked to contact police at 765-1647.

The investigation continues in an incident of retail theft at a convenience store along state Route 879 and Interstate 80 in which an Oil City woman pumped approximately $25 worth of gas and left without paying.

She was later contacted and made a payment.

Juveniles were reportedly playing with a rag on fire at Lawrence Park Village.

One person was arrested for retail theft following an incident at Uni-Mart in Hyde.

Clearfield Borough police assisted with a possible burglary in progress along West Second Avenue after a woman reported hearing a loud noise in the basement as if someone had broken into the home.

Officers searched the home and found everything in order.

A report of trespassing on Weaver Street was handled at the scene.

Officers assisted Clearfield Borough police with a disturbance at a local tavern.

State police at DuBois

No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident on I-80 in Sandy Township when an Indiana man was stopped on the exit 97 ramp and failed to yield and his vehicle struck a trailer pulled by a vehicle driven by a Texas man.

Someone removed a purple Huffy 26-inch girl's 10-speed mountain bike from a Falls Creek woman's porch between 10 p.m. Sunday and 11:30 a.m. Monday.

Between 10:30 a.m. Friday and 10:30 a.m. Saturday, someone damaged the back of a vehicle owned by a Rockton woman while it was parked along East Main Street in Sykesville.

DuBois City

No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident at North Brady Street and East Scribner Avenue when a vehicle driven by a Curwensville man went through a red light and struck a vehicle driven by a DuBois woman.

The investigation continues.

State police at Philipsburg

Troopers issued a warning to a man following a noise complaint at his apartment on South Front Street in Philipsburg June 25. They returned at approximately 1 a.m. today and could hear him yelling while standing outside the apartment building and learned he was arguing with another person on the telephone.

Yesterday, a 17-year-old girl argued with residents in the 500 block of North 12th Street in Philipsburg Borough about child custody issues. During the course of the argument, she slapped those residing at the home, but they did not want to pursue criminal charges.
