State police at Clearfield
Yesterday, following an incident on Brisbin Street in Houtzdale, a man and woman from Houtzdale were cited for harassment.

Daniel Stephenson Jr. of Coalport was involved in a hit-and-run accident yesterday on Market Street in Beccaria Township in which he lost control of his vehicle and it struck an embankment and a fence.

Mr. Stephenson fled on foot and was identified by witnesses at the scene.

The investigation continues in an incident of harassment yesterday at Frenchtown Trailer Court in Decatur Township.

A Philipsburg man is accused of making threatening remarks toward an Osceola Mills woman.

Between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 7:40 a.m. Saturday, someone deposited siding, scrap metal and various other waste items at the Madera Ball Field, across from the township building in Madera.

Don Odell of Curwensville reported a vehicle struck his residence yesterday and fled the scene.

---

The owner of a backpack and motorcycle helmet found along Union Street in the Coalport area yesterday may claim them by contacting police.

During a traffic stop on state Route 865 in Beccaria Township yesterday, a 20-year-old Coalport man was found to be in possession of Hydrocodone, Adderall pills and drug paraphernalia.

Logan Hollabaugh of Philipsburg reported someone caused approximately $1,600 in damage to the front door of his Allen Street residence Friday between 7-8 p.m.

Following a traffic stop on SR 879 Saturday, Matthew Reed of Tyrone was arrested for driving under the influence.

An incident of harassment by communication was reported when Derrick Martell of Wallaceton received repeated unwanted text messages from a Clearfield man between April 18 and Saturday.

Extra patrols will be provided in the Guelich Avenue area following several reports of speeding vehicles.

Officers could not locate a vehicle reportedly being driven recklessly on Nichols Street.

Police assisted Mental Health/Mental Retardation on South Sixth Street and code enforcement on Ogden Avenue.

A juvenile who was using obscene language on Front Street was issued a warning.

No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident on Bigler Avenue.

A cell phone found on Weaver Street was returned to its owner.

Police responded to Spruce Street for a noise complaint.

Police were called to the Clearfield Driving Park for a report of disorderly juveniles.

A 27-year-old man was arrested and taken to Clearfield County Jail on several warrants and found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.

The investigation continues in the theft of an MP3 player.

Lawrence Township
Several reports of suspicious vehicles were found to be census workers.

Residents are reminded that legitimate census workers will have identification cards and should have a 12-inch square sign in the back window of their vehicles.

Officers were able to locate the owner of an abandoned vehicle.

---

One individual was arrested following an incident of retail theft at Wal-Mart Supercenter.

---

A minor accident happened on High Level Road.

Several dog complaints were referred to animal control.

A burglary was reported in Hyde.

Officers responded to the Plymptonville area for a report of a suspicious person on a bike.

---

The investigation continues in an act of harassment and disorderly conduct.

A traffic hazard was reported on Good Street and River Road.

One man was transported to Clearfield Hospital and another was taken to CCJ following an altercation at a local establishment.

The incident was first reported as a gunshot victim, but it was later determined that the person had been cut after several intoxicated people were involved in a fight.

A suspicious vehicle was located at a storage unit.

Officers contacted the owners of vehicles parked along River Road.

---

The fire department was contacted to clean up glass on Rockton Mountain Highway.

---

The investigation continues in an incident of damage to unattended property at Auto Mart on U.S. Route 322.

A woman was looking at vehicles in the lot when her vehicle began to coast forward, traveled into a grassy area, and struck and damaged a fence. She then fled the scene.

A complaint of disorderly conduct was reported in Hyde.

Morris-Cooper Regional
Police responded to a report of a 3-year-old child walking along Deer Creek Road by her driveway. It was learned the girl was OK and in the custody of her parents.

Following a traffic stop on Sixth Street in Hawk Run, a Cooper Township resident was arrested for DUI of alcohol.

---

Police will contact two individuals who were operating all-terrain vehicles on Deer Creek Road.

---

Residents are reminded to keep their vehicles locked following a reported theft in which someone stole money from the center console of a Morrisdale resident's vehicle.

---

Charges of underage drinking were filed against a juvenile in Morrisdale.

State police at Philipsburg
Following a traffic stop on SR 53 near Pine Street in Philipsburg, a Morrisdale man was arrested for DUI.

Roy Harris of Philipsburg reported someone stole several CDs from his vehicle while it was parked along North Seventh Street in Philipsburg Borough between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Friday.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 342-3370.

In separate incidents Saturday, a Philipsburg man and woman were cited for harassment.

Troopers are seeking more information after a man pumped approximately 14 gallons of gasoline into his blue pickup truck at the Minit-Mart along North Front Street in Philipsburg yesterday and left without paying.

A Port Matilda woman found dead in her home yesterday reportedly died of natural causes.

---

Several people were cited for disorderly conduct April 19 following an incident on State Street in Sandy Ridge.

---

The investigation continues after an 18-year-old man removed $250 from a 15-year-old boy's wallet in the boy's locker room at Philipsburg-Osceola Area High School April 14.

State police at Rockview
Troopers are investigating the theft of a bag, valued at $325, belonging to a 30-year-old Philipsburg man at the Uni-Mart in Spring Township yesterday.
