State police at Clearfield

Verna and Gary Lixey of Madera reported someone entered their residence Monday along Belsena Road through a basement window.

The investigation continues and anyone with information is asked to contact police at 857-3800.

Vicky and Robert Kitchen of Irvona reported someone forced open a window to gain entry to their residence along Ansonville Road Monday.

Troopers are investigating and seeking more information.

The investigation continues and police are seeking more information after a Ramey woman reported two known men stole her bank card and used it in the Houtzdale area Monday.

A Curwensville man reported someone forcibly entered his Pine Street residence and stole prescription medication yesterday.

John Probins of Philipsburg reported someone cut copper fuel lines and removed 10 gallons of home heating fuel from along Walton Street in Chester Hill between March 26 and April 9.

Clearfield Boro

Police returned a cell phone to its owner.

A suspicious man reported on Market Street left prior to police arrival.

Officers arrested a man for public drunkenness and took him to Clearfield County Jail after he was seen staggering along Nichols Street.

A 19-year-old woman was cited for underage drinking and related charges after she was found on North Second Street.

No injuries were reported and the investigation continues in a disturbance between three women on North Second Street.

A vehicle reportedly stolen was later located along East Market Street and Temple Avenue.

Police received a report of an incident of harassment by communication after messages were left on a cell phone.

Police investigated a burning complaint on Nichols Street and learned that someone was cooking outside on a grill.

A bicycle was reportedly removed from a West Locust Street residence.

Lawrence Township

No injuries were reported in an accident at South Second Street and state Route 879 in which a vehicle driven by a Virginia woman struck a vehicle driven by a Curwensville woman.

Police assisted another agency in searching for a suspicious vehicle.

A suspicious person reported in the Hillsdale area was determined to be part of the census bureau.

No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident at the BP Station on SR 879.

Officers received information regarding a possible computer scam in the area.

Reckless driving was reported on Rockton Mountain Highway.

Officers learned that a traffic violation on SR 879 happened in Curwensville, which is out of their jurisdiction.

Police assisted Clearfield Borough officers with an assault along North Second Street.

---

Officers handled a disturbance outside an apartment at Lawrence Park Village.

State police at DuBois

Mona Wilson of Falls Creek reported someone scratched the paint on her car with an unknown object between March 15 and Wednesday.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 371-4652.

Donald Sheasley of Ridgway suffered minor injuries Wednesday when he failed to negotiate a left curve on SR 153, his vehicle struck the guide rail, crossed both lanes, struck the guide rail on the east side of the road and overturned.

Penfield Volunteer Fire Department extricated Mr. Sheasley from the vehicle and he was transported to Elk Regional Medical Center.

Bennetts Valley Ambulance and DuSan Ambulance assisted.
