Judge Ammerman presides at revocation court

Clearfield County President Judge Fredric J. Ammerman presided over a session of revocation court Dec. 17.
  • Christopher Hawkins, 23, Clearfield County Jail, had his probation revoked. On a charge of burglary, he was resentenced to serve 18 months to five years in the state correctional institution at Albion.

Mr. Hawkins violated his probation by failing to report to his probation officer and failing to refrain from the use and possession of a controlled substance, specifically marijuana.

  • Scott A. Ball, 21, CCJ, had his probation revoked. On a charge of retail theft, he was resentenced to serve six months to two years in SCI-Albion.

Mr. Ball violated his probation by failing to refrain from the use and possession of alcohol.

  • Dustin Douthit, 21, CCJ, had his probation revoked. On a charge of simple assault, he was resentenced to serve two years' probation on the condition he serve 45 days in CCJ.

Mr. Douthit violated his probation by failing to refrain from the use and possession of alcohol.

  • Shawn Smith, 34, CCJ, had his probation revoked. On a charge of simple assault, he was resentenced to serve one-year probation on the condition he serve 28 days in CCJ.

Mr. Smith violated his probation by failing to report to his probation officer and failing to refrain from overt behavior.

  • Theresa Punchios, 23, CCJ, had her probation revoked. On a charge of criminal conspiracy/commit forgery, she was resentenced to serve 18 months to four years in SCI for Women at Muncy. On a charge of unauthorized use of motor vehicle, she was placed on two years' probation.

Ms. Punchios violated her probation by failing to report any arrests within 72 hours, report to her probation officer, attend counseling as recommended by his probation officer and refrain from the use and possession of controlled substances, specifically methamphetamines.

  • Daniel A. Lee, 43, CCJ, had his probation revoked. On a charge of driving under the influence, he was resentenced to serve six months to three years in SCI-Albion. On charges of resisting arrest and harassment, he was placed on two years' probation.

Mr. Lee violated his probation by failing to comply with all laws and refrain from the use and possession of alcohol.

  • Richard E. Doksa, 30, CCJ, had his probation revoked. On a charge of theft by deception, count one, he was ordered to serve one-year probation on the condition he serve 37 days in CCJ. On count two of theft by deception, he was placed on one-year consecutive probation.

Mr. Doksa violated his probation by failing to refrain from the use and possession of a controlled substance, specifically cocaine.

  • Brian K. Carns, 49, CCJ, had his probation revoked. On a charge of theft by deception, he was resentenced to serve one-year probation on the condition he serve 20 days in CCJ. On an additional charge of theft by deception, he was placed on one-year consecutive probation. In addition, he is to refrain from the use and possession of alcohol and not enter places that serve alcohol.

Mr. Carns violated his probation by failing to refrain from the use and possession of alcohol.

  • Donald D. Witherite, 26, CCJ, had his probation revoked. On a charge of DUI, he was resentenced to serve nine months to three years in SCI-Albion.

Mr. Witherite violated his probation by failing to report to his probation officer, complete a full drug and alcohol assessment and refrain from the use and possession of alcohol.

  • Melissa Caldwell, 34, CCJ, had her probation revoked. On a charge of forgery, she was resentenced to serve 12 months to three years in SCI for Women at Muncy.

Ms. Caldwell violated her probation by failing to refrain from the use and possession of alcohol and comply with all laws.

  • Cassandra Wallace, 22, CCJ, was ordered detained pending disposition of her preliminary hearing. She is on probation for a charge of criminal conspiracy/theft from a motor vehicle. In November, she was arrested by Lawrence Township police for endangering the welfare of children.
  • Shane L. Ellis, 21, CCJ, had his probation revoked. On a charge of terroristic threats, he was resentenced to serve 12 months to four years in SCI-Albion.

Mr. Ellis violated his probation through the use of alcohol and the commission of a new offense.

  • Robert Williams, 12 S. Fifth St., Clearfield, was ordered detained pending disposition of the preliminary hearing. He is on probation for theft by deception and was arrested by Pennsylvania State Police for theft by unlawful taking.
  • Raymond D. Castro, 27, CCJ, had his probation revoked. On a charge of terroristic threats, he was resentenced to serve 12 months to four years in SCI-Albion.

Mr. Castro violated his probation by failing to refrain from the use and possession of a controlled substance, specifically heroin.

  • Robert L. Shoffner, 26, CCJ, had his probation revoked. On a charge of theft by unlawful taking, he was resentenced to serve two years' probation on the condition he serve 10 days in CCJ.

Mr. Shoffner violated his probation by failing to refrain from the use and possession of alcohol.

  • Robert S. Zimmerman, 22, CCJ, had his probation revoked. On a charge of theft from a motor vehicle, he was resentenced to serve five months to two years in SCI-Albion.

Mr. Zimmerman violated his probation by failing to report to his probation officer, refrain from the use and possession of controlled substances, specifically marijuana and cocaine, and attend counseling as recommended by his probation officer.

  • Roger L. Albright, 24, CCJ, had his probation revoked. On a charge of theft by unlawful taking, he was resentenced to serve one-year probation on the condition he serve 20 days in CCJ.

Mr. Albright violated his probation by failing to report as instructed and by changing his residence without permission of his probation officer.

  • Robert Litzinger, 41, CCJ, had his probation revoked. On a charge of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, specifically phentanyl, he was resentenced to serve 60 days to two years in SCI-Albion.

Mr. Litzinger violated his probation by failing to refrain from the use and possession of alcohol.

  • Mandy L. Kruise, 29, CCJ, had her probation revoked. On a charge of bad checks, she was resentenced to serve eight months to two years in SCI for Women at Muncy. On a charge of theft by unlawful taking, she was placed on two years' probation.

Ms. Kruise violated her probation by failing to refrain from the use and possession of a controlled substance, specifically marijuana and crack.

  • Matthew S. Solida, 32, CCJ, had his probation revoked. On a charge of false identification to police, he was resentenced to serve one-year probation upon the condition he serve 60 days in CCJ.

Mr. Solida violated his probation by failing to report to his probation officer and maintain his monthly payment.

  • Cody Stephenson, 21, CCJ, had his probation revoked. On a charge of theft by unlawful taking, he was resentenced to serve one-year probation on serving 60 days in CCJ.

Mr. Stephenson violated his probation by failing to refrain from the use and possession of a controlled substance, specifically heroin and cocaine.

  • Bryan J. Gearhart, 20, 187 Post Office Road, Mineral Springs, had his probation revoked. On a charge of receiving stolen property, he was resentenced to serve three months to three years in SCI-Albion.

Mr. Gearhart violated his probation by failing to comply with all laws, and failing to refrain from the use and possession of alcohol. He was arrested by Lawrence Township police for criminal mischief and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

  • Andrew G. James Jr., 47, 1507 Lloyd St., Altoona, had his probation revoked. On a charge of retail theft, he was resentenced to serve six months' probation on the condition he serve two days in CCJ.

Mr. James violated his probation by failing to refrain from the use and possession of a controlled substances, specifically marijuana, and maintain his monthly payment.

  • Zachary Conklin, 19, 614 Williams St., Clearfield, had his probation revoked. On a charge of possession of a controlled substance, specifically marijuana, he was resentenced to serve 30 days' probation on the condition he serve nine days in CCJ.

Mr. Conklin violated his probation by failing to submit to a urine test.

  • Joseph Sheedy, 30, CCJ, had his probation revoked. On a charge of corruption of minors, he was resentenced to serve four months to three years in SCI-Albion.

Mr. Sheedy violated his probation by failing to refrain from the use and possession of a controlled substance, specifically marijuana, and comply with all laws.

Mr. Sheedy was arrested by Clearfield Borough police for failing to register relative to Megan's Law.

  • Daniel L. Graham, P.O. Box 465, Bigler, had his case continued until next month. He is charged with violation of the accelerated rehabilitative disposition program for failing to pay for the DUI School, complete 60 hours of community service and maintain his monthly payment. He is charged with DUI.

Bench warrants were issued for the following people for failing to appear for court.

They were charged with contempt of court for failing to maintain their monthly payments:

  • Tracey L. Auber, 36, 5141 Rockton Road, DuBois.
  • James R. Eckard II, 67, 516 Henrietta St., Philipsburg.
  • Timothy A. Henry, 28, 318 N. Ninth St., Apt. A, Philipsburg.
  • Susan Mort, 48, 2217 South Beechwood, Philadelphia.
  • Steven T. Roy, 28, 107 Brown St., Reynoldsville.
  • Seth E. Vaughn, 29, 57 Harner Road, Curwensville.
  • A bench warrant was issued for Bryan Frantz, 44, 15 S. Main St., DuBois, charged with violation of probation for failing to report to his probation officer and comply with all laws.
